Day1: Arrival to Socotra
Arrival Socotra airport and transfer to the hotel in Hadibo for check-in. After lunch drive to Delisha beach: activity is visiting the coast which consists of pristine white sand, relaxing, swimming both in the sea and in the fresh water lagoon with all the beautiful mountain back ground. After witnessing a fabulous sunset, back to Hadibo for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Hadibo – Homhil P.A. – Arher beach
After a short visit of Hadibo, the nursery of the native trees, the old market, we drive to Homhil Protected Area and hike down to the north-east coast through wadi Al-Shifa (3 hours) where we will meet the car; we keep driving to Arher beach which is the place where the fresh water coming from the mountain makes pools and meets the salty water coming from the ocean. Activity is exploring the coast, swimming in the sea, climbing the sand dunes, relaxing in the pools.

Day 3: Arher – Hoq cave –Ras Irsel
We drive from Arher beach to a small village from where we hike to Hoq cave, the biggest cave on the island (3 kilometers long). We hike up for two hours with some scrubby paths but aren’t steep ascent, till we reach the gate of the cave and then we will trail a smooth alley for two hours in and back. Stalactites, stalagmites, and magnificent columns are widespread all along. We return to Arher for lunch and in the afternoon we make the way to a nice excursion to Ras Irsel beach, then return to Arher for dinner and overnight camping.

Day 4: Dihamri P.A.
After breakfast we will make our way to Dihamri marine life Protected Area, which is home to one of the richest coral reefs in the archipelago with 4 of the 5 coral species that inhabit to the Island. Dihamri offers excellent snorkelling, and for certified divers, one of the best dives that Socotra Islands has to offer, with great opportunities to see parrotfish, moray eel, rays, sea urchins, etc. This shallow reef will let even the inexperienced snorkeler enjoy its beauty. We would like to remind people not to touch the corals in the marine protected area as this would cause irreversible damage.

Day 5: Wadi Difarho – Aomak
We will drive to wadi Difarho on a way where you we can see traditional villages and natural pools at the bottom of the canyon. The unusual desert rose tree clings places on the canyon walls. The vegetation here is lush green and there are birds and forest of frankincense trees. Then we will continue our way to the natural zoon of the colossal sand dunes of Hayf and Zaheq which have been pushed up against the mountain seasonal wind of Socotra. You can climb the dunes for a view that is truly worth then we will drive to south up to Aomak beach where you can swim in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean

Day 6: – Dogub cave – Dixam plateau
We will visit Dogub cave, which is scattering of traditional villages below. The cave is interesting as there are many stalactites, stalagmites and water that have seeped through the rock over time. After we will make our way by 4×4 vehicles to Dixam plateau and Shebahon viewpoint. This area is renowned for dragon blood trees, the resin of which is collected, used and traded by the people of Socotra. The area is also home to the endemic and rare bird, Socotra bunting (estimated at 1,000 pairs). The Shebahon viewpoint gives a fabulous view overlooking Druher canyon where we will see unusual yet beautiful rock formations. We will then make our way down to the wadi for lunch and an easy walk and maybe also a swim in a freshwater pool with a natural slide.

Day 7: Fermihen forest – Scand
Today we begin our extraordinary trek along the Haggier Mountains through the forest of the Dragon’s Blood tree of Fermihen forest, till we come close to the highest peak on the island. In the afternoon we will arrive to Scand. located about 1200m above sea level. This area is known for its very rich and abundant diverse of flora & fauna. Here is some of the most breathtaking scenery in Socotra. We will enjoy the rest of the afternoon exploring the area.

Day 8: wadi Ayaft
We will continue our trek along the northern side of the Haggier Mountains, descending to wadi Ayhaft, enjoying some of the most scenically beautiful parts of Socotra, where we will still appreciate the reach diversity in flora and fauna of this community with valleys where you can come across Frankincense trees and the bizarre bottle trees and we will observe a large amount of animals and unique bird species.

Day 9: Qalasyia – Detwha lagoon
Today we will drive to the western part of the island where a little fishermen’s town of Qalansyia is located. It consists of traditional Socotri houses, narrow alleyways and a long beach full of fishing boats ready to set off for today’s catch. We will continue to neighbouring Detwah lagoon which is a marine protected area renowned for its magic landscape. You will be charmed by a white sandy tongue surrounded by turquoise waters of the bay. This surely is one of the best views on the island. You can jump in the shallow sea there and enjoy the paradise. Only be careful with sting rays that can be seen in the lagoon. There is also an array of sea birds to be seen in the lagoon.

Day 10: Shouab
After breakfast we will take a traditional fishing boat to the pristine beach at Shouab seeing beautiful rock cliffs, fishing and perhaps cormorants and dolphins on the way. There are also mangrove trees on this beach, where you can go for an easy swim. After the return boat trip to Detwah lagoon for lunch, we will drive back to the capital city of Socotra ( Hadibo).

Day 11: departure from Socotra
After an early breakfast you still have time to visit the souvenir shop at Socotra woman association and the market, while waiting for transfer to Socotra airport for your short flight to the mainland
